The BBCA Administration Office is Closed on Friday, July 4

In celebration of Independence Day, the BBCA Administration Office will be closed on Friday, July 4. Regular operating hours resume on Monday, July 7 at 8:00 a.m. The BBCA wishes all residents a safe and joyful holiday weekend!

Hotwire Wraps Up Successful Fision TV+ Town Halls

Thank you to all residents who attended the recent Hotwire town halls. The sessions were a great success, providing helpful insights into Hotwire’s upcoming in-home technology upgrades and the features of the new Fision TV+ platform. As a follow-up, Hotwire will resume hosting additional in-person and virtual town halls in August to continue supporting residents through this transition. The BBCA will share specific dates and registration details when available. For more information about the Fision TV+ integration, please read the FAQ here. Payment for the Private Beach Assessment is Due Today

On March 20, the Board approved a Special Assessment in the amount of $500 per unit for the rebuild of the Private Beach facility due to damages caused by Hurricane Ian. To make an online payment, log into your account on the Resident Website or mobile app and click on the View/Pay My Statement quick link or click here. Payments are due on June 30, 2025, and can be made via credit/debit card or electronic ACH (Note: ACH Autopay does not apply to Special Assessments). Prescribed Burn in Baywoods

Bonita Bay is the first private community in Southwest Florida to conduct a prescribed burn as part of its wildfire management strategy. On June 9, this carefully planned burn was carried out in Baywoods, safely clearing excess vegetation without any impact on residents and wildlife.

One Bonita Bay Financial Impact Study

Bonita Bay functions as a pillar of economic vitality in Southwest Florida both locally and regionally. The combined contributions of the Bonita Bay Community Association, Bonita Bay Club, and Bonita Bay Marina play a crucial role in funding public services and infrastructure within Lee County and the City of Bonita Springs. Please do not attempt to enter the Private Beach. Resident access is currently prohibited due to ongoing construction, and trespassing or parking on the premises is not allowed.

Emergency AEDs Installed in Bonita Bay

Multiple Automated External Defibrillator (AED) units have been installed in Bonita Bay. AEDs can be life-saving in the event of sudden cardiac arrest and are designed for easy use in emergencies. Units are currently located at Spring Creek Park, Riverwalk Park, Estero Bay Park, the Bonita Bay Activities Center, and more. Click here here to see a map showing all 12 AED locations.

Bonita Bay Has a Fresh New Look

New yellow annuals have been planted in various locations throughout Bonita Bay by the Grounds Maintenance Department. These plantings help keep the community’s landscape well-tended and visually appealing.

Bicycle Speed Signs Have Been Installed

The Grounds Maintenance Department has placed bicycle speed limit signs across the property, prioritizing high-traffic zones and major intersections. The designated speed limit is 8 mph, and all cyclists are expected to comply with this regulation.

Community Activities

Bonita Bay Resident Club Fall Content

Calling all Resident Clubs. For groups that wish to announce fall events in the printed Around the Bay newsletter, please submit content by Thursday, July 31 to katiew@bbcahome.com. This covers the fall season only – October, November, and December. Newsletters will be distributed in late September.

Space reservation requests for Estero Bay Park and the Community Activities Center may also be submitted at this time. Reservations are not yet available for the Private Beach facility. Watch for a separate communication regarding specifics.

Residents must meet the bus at Bonita Grande Crossing, Bonita Springs at 8:30 a.m. – 12900 Trade Way 4 (East of I-75; If standing in the parking lot facing Publix, find the door marked “Bonita Grande Dental” and park in this area). All return times are approximate and will depend upon traffic conditions. If minimum numbers are not met, the trip will cancel.
