Week 13 Update for Wild Pines

  1. Screen enclosure frames have been wrapped up.
  2. The aluminum crew is on site today to finish up caulking. One panel on each screen enclosure may not have the screen fully installed so that the crews have access to come back onto each given lanai for caulking. The screen will be buttoned up early this week or during punch out.
  3. Handrails for the 3rd elevated floor were delivered on Friday and are ready for installation.
  4. Handrails for the 2nd elevated floor are in fabrication and will be finished soon.
  5. We met with the GPR scanning team (Horizon) on Friday to get them up to speed on our scope for the handrails. We’ll need to work together to schedule a time to get Horizon, Velocity, CPR, and our handrail installer on site to collectively come up with a plan for the handrail installation. We will need to remove the handrails to allow access for the full GPR scan of the slab edge. We performed a preliminary scan and it appears that the elevated walkways are fairly congested with reinforcement and possibly prestressed cables and will likely need direction from Velocity on how they would like to proceed.
