Week 10 – Building B Construction Update

Update for last week, week 10, is below:

  1. Stucco is stripped on all columns for inspections.
  2. All parties were on site last week to identify columns in need of repair.
  3. Shore posts are being erected per the shoring layout provided by Velocity. Our foreman on site is to send pictures of our shoring for approval prior to working on columns.
  4. Floor protection as been laid down at 203 in effort to mitigate any damage to the existing tile. We have sourced supplemental 1/2” rubber stall mats per Matt’s request. These will be added prior to post shore install out of caution to the situation at 203.
  5. We will be washing down the courtyard this week to help alleviate the concrete dust. We still have texture and painting to complete on the walkway repairs, and will wash the courtyard down again prior to demobilize site.

Outlook for this week:

  1. Erect shores
  2. Stucco repairs on slab edges and columns not needing concrete repairs
  3. Column Repairs throughout
  4. Wash down of the courtyard
