Private Beach Construction News & Updates

Beach Opening Timeline

May brings substantial progress as the Private Beach moves closer to completion. We are all eager to have our beach completed and everyone is working hard to make that happen.
We are pleased to announce we are on track to complete the construction within the month of June. That being said, there are still various formal processes beyond our control that have to be finalized which include multiple final inspections and the completion of the Certificate of Occupancy (CO).

Unfortunately, we do not anticipate getting our final approvals and CO during July based on current estimates. We know this is disappointing. The BBCA will continue to provide updates regarding the time frame for the opening. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Building Features

Key exterior features were installed and a retaining wall was added at the entry to address erosion. Landscaping was completed with sod, palms, and dune vegetation. A turtle-friendly fence is being installed along the north boundary to reduce light exposure.

Inside, electrical systems in the South pavilion are fully wired, and polished stainless steel railings are being added to the South stairway. Interior finishes, including tile and stucco, are scheduled next for installation.
