Building B Update – Week 3

Vendor met on site Thursday (today) with the aluminum crew and Velocity to discuss progress, and to go over the interior courtyard rails.
- All floor finishes have been removed on balconies.
- Concrete slab repairs are underway on the 01 and 02 stacks.
- Vendor would like to get a started on the courtyard rails, grab rails, etc. as soon as possible so that they can make corrections, if needed, while we are on site.
- Next Monday (15th) Vendor will have a crew begin concrete repairs on the 3rd and 2nd floor walkways in effort to get these out of the way before rails go in. They will utilize plywood to cover repair areas during non-working hours, and other safety precautions as needed.
- The following Monday (22nd) they will begin demo of handrails starting on the 3rd floor. As the rails are removed, the aluminum crew is scheduled to install the new rails directly after the existing handrails are demoed and disposed of.
Outlook for Next Week (Week 4):
- Continue concrete repairs on walkways and unit lanais.
