Sign Up for BBCA Emergency Notification Text Messaging
All residents are strongly encouraged to sign up to receive BBCA emergency text notifications if not done so already. This system allows us to send emergency notifications quickly in the event of a hurricane.

Mark Your Calendars for National Hurricane Preparedness Week – May 4-10
National Hurricane Preparedness Week is a nationwide effort in the first or second week of May. This year, it is observed from May 4 to 10. Its purpose is to get the country prepared in case a hurricane strikes. Read more here.

Lee County residents can also sign up for AlertLee, Lee County’s Emergency Mass Notification System. The AlertLee system enhances officials’ ability to quickly communicate with the public and provide critical and time-sensitive information for emergencies such as hurricanes, wildfires, evacuations, and missing persons. By registering for AlertLee, you can receive alerts via cell phone by voice or text, email addresses, home phone, business phone, and more.
